I'm happy to say that my poem will appear in issue #16 of 50 Haikus. There's nothing fantasy in those three little lines, but as I re-read it last night, I thought of Vivi, the main character in the YA fantasy novel I'm currently submitting. My haiku is absolutely something Vivi could have written as she watched the seasons change through the locked gate of her comfortable prison.
